With the commissioning of the first CSP plant allotted under the JNNSM Phase 1, the total solar installed capacity in Rajasthan has reached 608.5 MW. During the period April 2013 to June 2013, a total of 55.75 MW was commissioned in the state. An analysis of the projects commissioned till March 2013 can be found here. The latest status as per Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation Limited(RRECL) is given below.
Jodhpur continues to be the top district in terms of the number of projects(47) and total installed capacity(334 MW).
In fact, Jodhpur is the number one district across the country with the most number of projects. Patan and Surendranagar districts in Gujarat follow. Jaisalmer in Rajasthan comes 4th and Kutch district in Gujarat comes 5th. The district-wise project details in Gujarat are given below.
