The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy(MNRE) has released the performance data for July 2013. The performance details, as always include the energy yield as well as the CUF of the power plants commissioned under the JNNSM Phase 1 (batch 1 and 2) as well as the plants that were commissioned under the RPSSGP scheme. After touching a peak generation in May 2013, the generation has dropped in the last two months and this drop can be attributed mainly to the cloudy conditions and rains caused by the south-west monsoon prevalent across the country.
